Fly Cards – an ongoing series of Australian fly patterns.
A great fly tying swing-book from In Season Tasmania co-author and fly fishing guide Daniel Hackett. Containing 20 must-have fly patterns, each complete with full colour photos, recipes, tying steps, fishing notes and their history.
As more patterns are realeased, fly tyers will be able to add to their swing-boook by simply removing the fastening pin, adding the new leaf, and re-fastening your book!
Approximate size - 70mm wide x 220mm high, printed in Tasmania on hard wearing laminated stock.

'After three months of hard work, we are excited to have produced a new fly tying book, Fly Cards, to showcase our favourite guiding patterns, and some modern Australian favorites. It’s been more than a decade since Australian’s had a fly tying book to showcase our favourite trout flies. During this time we’ve seen the beginnings of a generational change in fly fishing, and in fly tying. Foam products are now an integral part of fly tying, U.V. reflective materials have opened up a new school of thinking, and the transplanting of British loch-style fly fishing techniques to Tasmania has lead to the development of our own specialised loch-style flies.
